Top Five Changes to Prepare for in Kindergarten

Last fall, my 5 year old made the leap from preschool to kindergarten. At the time, dropping him off for his first day seemed comparable to dropping him at college - at least it felt that way to me. This was Elementary school, the big show, far from the toddlers and nap time at his Nursery school. And I am aware that many parents may be dropping their preschooler at kindergarten next year also. VPK summer registration starts 6/16

The 2008 summer VPK (Voluntary Pre-kindergarten Program) starts June 23 and goes through Aug. 14.
