This Weekend's Family Activities

The weekend is upon us once again! Next week brings the start of a busy holiday season. Perhaps you will be traveling to see family or having family visit you for Thanksgiving. Either way, there is a lot of excitement ahead. Take the time to enjoy this weekend with your children before the holiday rush is upon us.
Free Circus and Food Drive at the St. Pete Times Forum
Today between 11am and 1pm, Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey circus is offering one free ticket to the "Greatest Show on Earth" for 10 nonperishable donations. Tickets are limited to four per family.
Pop Go the Wiggles - Live! at St. Pete Times Forum
Yes, it's true, the Wiggles are here! They will be performing at the St. Pete Times Forum on Saturday. You can "shake your wiggles out" at either the 1:30 or 5:00pm show. Remember, Greg no longer performs with the Wiggles, but I hear Sam Wiggle is just as entertaining.
Florida Pirate Festival at Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg
Gather all of your mates and head over to Vinoy Park this weekend. The Florida Pirate Festival promises entertainment, education, food and of course - Pirates. The festival will be underway from November 21- 23. Check their website for more details!
Dunedin Celtic Festival at Highlander Park, Dunedin Community center
Are you ready for some fun Scottish culture and music? The Celtic Festival will be held on Saturday from 12:00pm to 9:30pm and is a benefit concert for Scottish bands. Admission is free.
Children's Day Screening of Miracle on 34th Street at Old Hyde Park Village.
Kick off the holiday season with this free movie classic event. Expect some fun extra activities for everyone such as clowns, origami, face painting and food. The screening begins at 6:00pm.
Seussical at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center
On Sunday, all of your favorite Dr. Seuss books come together for this fun-filled, musical performance hosted by our favorite Dr. Seus star: The Cat in the Hat! The show begins at 2pm and 4pm.
Symphony in Lights at the Shops at Wiregrass
The premier of this lights show will kick off at 6pm on Saturday. This holiday light show will be choreographed to the music of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and will ensure a fantastic seasonal event for your family. Along with carolers, giveaways and other fun, Santa will also be making an appearance!
